Hey there, I’m Candice – the founder and lead interior design consultant & specialist behind El Studio Design, a boutique interior design firm based in Portland. For me, great design is about creating a feeling. A space that tells a story. A place you genuinely love spending time in.
I’ve always been fascinated by the way organic modern interior design can shape our experiences. What textures invite us to linger? What colors lift our mood? Every project starts by asking the question “How do we want this space to feel?” From there, it’s all about thoughtfully creating a sense of connection and flow throughout the room or home.
When I’m not picking out materials or hunting for the perfect vintage piece, you’ll likely find me hanging out with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Wednesday, exploring Portland’s food scene, or sinking into a good film.
